1/6 Plate Civil War Ambrotype of Slick-Haired Yankee Wearing Sack Coat

A nice sixth plate ambrotype of a handsome young Union soldier who applied a bit of pomade before visiting the photographer. He is seated wearing his four-button sack coat.

His arm rests on a small table on which is displayed the mans forage cap. This is a very clear image in excellent condition.
