Antique C19th American Civil War Confederate Style Artillery Forage Cap Kepi Old

You are viewing what appears to be a Confederate artillery kepi. It is possibly a later 19th century cap, perhaps used at reunions. I can't find any maker's stamp on the inside of the cap and don't won't to open up the black lining to see if there is one underneath the crown of the cap.

There are holes where a cap badge would have sat. The cap size is quite small, possibly used by a young man. Condition is "as is": wear to the cap band and numerous small holes in the fabric.
