Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique Authentic U. Civil War M1850 Foot Officer's Sword with Etched Blade.

This Has an Ornate U. N Gold Gilded Decorative Basket Cross Guard with Wire Wrapped Shark Skin Handle with Eagle and Stars on the End.

33 7/8" Long with a 28" Blade. The Blade is Etched with Scroll and Patriotic Designs.

1 1/8 Wide at the Base. The Blade is Signed by the Maker "Horstmann & Son Philadelphia". The Scabbard is the Original Leather and Brass Scabbard with One Ring. The Leather is Dry and it Has Been Taped in the Center, as Pictured. This is an Authentic Battle Used Sword, as Evident by the Nicks on the Blade Edge, and Some Pitting.

This is a Great Piece of U. This Sword is Exactly as I found it in the Estate, and is in Good Original Condition with some Play in the Handle! Don't pass this one up, This is a Rare Historic Sword!!!! This will make a stunning addition to any Collection!
