Antique US Civil War N. Starr Model 1812 Cavalry Sword w/ Scabbard. This sabre was contracted in 1812/13.

It is a plain curved, flat blade with a clipped point. The iron hilt has a leather grip. The P proof is found on the outside of the knuckle bow near the bend.

Has two narrow bands with rings and thin drag. Blade has been used to chop and has lots of dings to cutting edge.
