Beautiful Cavalry Jacket 100% wool fabric with moderate wear, it does have some mothing, an occasional tear and staining in the traffic area's that doesn't really show in the photo's. This was not a closet Hanger but was worn under Battlefield conditions and has a few scars to prove it (if this Jacket could talk) a beautiful uniform piece with lot's of character. Now Combine that wonderful Jacket with this Very Good Conditioned unmarked 1860 Cavalry saber with the Regimental number 4 stenciled prominently on the Original scabbard. This magnificent artifact along with the Heroic fourth Pennsylvania cavalry has fought in most if not all the major battles of the Civil War including the Peninsula Campaign, Antietam, Gettysburg and The Wilderness just to name a few.

Along with the saber is an original scabbard in also in very good condition with the usual amount of scattered denting and this particular piece is missing it's mouth, but has done it's job wonderfully as there is no damage to the weapon. This will make for a magnificent Historic or Civil War display.

This is an excellent opportunity for novice or experienced collector as these items are becoming very difficult to find and when you are lucky enough to find one the price is almost always prohibitive.
