Military Army Cavalry "Model 1860" Sword with Original Scabbard, DATED 1864. The guard is a military pattern three bar made from brass. The hand grip was normally made of wood wrapped in leather then wound with twisted copper Wire. The Sword is signed by the maker Ames Mfg. Chicopee" on One Side, and "U.

The Marking is the U. Inspector's Mark is by Charles E Wilson, with the Year of production 1864. This Sword is in Overall Very Nice Original Condition and has the original Aged Patina, LOOK at Photo's! 41" Long with a 35" Blade.

The Total Length of the Sword in Scabbard is 42 1/2. The metal Scabbard is Original! The Swords Slides nicely In and Out of the Scabbard! The Brass has a nice Aged Patina.
