Here we offer a Civil War-era cdv photograph of President Abraham Lincoln, framed in a striking period 19th century maroon velvet and lavender silk mourning frame. The cdv is a less-commonly reproduced February 23, 1864 Anthony Berger session. Rear markings on the cdv are for G. Tomlinson, Boston, and it has been clipped at the edge to fit the frame. The frame is set with true wavy glass.
