For sale is an extremely rare Civil War US marked solid cast belt buckle with remnants of the leather belt remaining. This is a real deal early original example with the oval studs and a wide tapered tongue with a partial amount of the original leather belt remaining (see pictures). It was found near McPherson's Ridge, near Gettysburg, PA. It was found a long time ago obviously for the leather to remain.
