US Civil War Model 1860 Presentation Staff & Field Sword with Scabbard. The guard, grip, and pommel cap are all tight.

The wooden grip shows very little wear with a small piece missing just under the pommel cap area. The twisted wire is complete and tight.

The double fixed clamshell has the typical eagle with flags on it on one side and on the other side is a shield with crossed cannons, swords, and rifle, both sides have a slight bend. The etched blade is straight, unsharpened, has some scattered light age spots on the lower third of the blade toward the tip, minor. The scabbard is solid and shows little wear with a couple small dents and light scratches throughout. Length of the blade measures 31 3/4.

(1/2" wide and 1/4" thick at the ricasso). Length of the sword is 37 1/4", and overall in the scabbard it is 38 7/8". Check out my other War items!!
