US Civil War Model 1850 Foot Officers Sword. The grip is worn down to the wood and that has been worn through in a few spots. The guard is slightly loose and the grip moves a bit more. Has "US", an eagle, a cannon, also etched floral and leaf designs, it. Is straight except for the last 1/2 by the tip has a minor bend, the tip is sharp, bright and clean with only some light surface rust scattered throughout.

Length of the blade is 31 1/2" (1 1/8" wide and 5/16" thick), and the sword overall is 37 1/4". Check out my other Civil War Items!
