1812 War - Civil War Amputation Saw. The Bulbus nose is meant for Surgical procedures. The wooden handle suggests early 1800's before the Gutta Percha era. Crack in the upper hand position of handle, one of the rivets has been replaced with a nail. 16 1/4 x 5 1/4 at the highest point on the top of the bolt.
