Camp Douglas was one of the largest Union prisoner-of-war camps during the Civil War. Sometimes referred to as the "Andersonville of the North, " it held thousands of Confederate prisoners under harsh conditions.
Period documents from the camp are scarce and desirable for both Civil War and POW history collectors.
