1864 Civil War Cavalry Sword Emerson & Silver with Scabbard. I believe this is a model 1860 Cavalry Saber / Sword with scabbard by Emerson & Silver out of Trenton NJ. The marks are a bit worn from years going in and out of the scabbard but on one side it is marked "Emerson & Silver Trenton NJ" and the other side D. The government inspector, initials, D. Mosemen inspected most of the swords made by Emerson & Silver.
