This was found tucked into a sleeve on an estate lot of antique memorabilia. Has been authenticated as real by JSA. The document in the image is a pay certificate or voucher issued by the State Treasurer's Office in Madison, Wisconsin, dated May 31, 1865. The certificate is signed by Lucius Fairchild, who was serving as the Secretary of State of Wisconsin at that time.
