Very nice pair of antique boots. Very interesting construction with the top being made almost entirely of one piece of thin leather. Has small brass eyelets for lacing.
Leather is still soft and pliable. A historical shoemaker friend of mine said they are 1850s-1870s. Laces are antique metal tipped cotton, but probably a later addition to the shoes. Marked "7" on the sole with the maker mark. 10.5 heel to toe. The perspective in the photos almost make them look different sizes, they are the same size I can assure you.
