Ambrotype Civil War Era Armed Men, Hotel, Buildings, Horses, Dog. For your consideration is a very RARE ambrotype civil war era scene with many players! Sign on the porch roof reads National Hotel. We see about 19 to 20 men some look to be soldiers some are armed with rifles an two men in the horse drawn sleighs. A large wrap a round porch the men are all around the porch with a dog sitting out front. There is about 2" to 4" of snow on the roof an ground, Two chimneys. The house is a two story with with 14 or 15 windows 24 pains of glass some with shutters. We see many buildings to the rear of the house.

This photo has so much involved I probably have missed something, should have a deep investigation. Very Nice Hard case in maroon felt case protector bag. Total size; 5 1/2" X 6 1/2". Condition Photo & Frame Case -- Very Very Good!!!
