Sword has a solid brass handle with blade marked Ames mfg co. The opposite side of the blade marked U.

Age - ca 1860's. Size - 35 1/2" overall with scabbard , 28" blade. Condition - Sword and Scabbard in very nice original condition. Sword blade with some light staining.
