Scarce Civil War Amber Sharpshooters "FOCUSSED SUNGLASSES" Eye Glasses. Nice pair of amber, focussed sunglasses.

Commonly used during the Civil War and attributed to SHARPSHOOTERS, as they helped to prevent glare when they were sighting in on a target. Nice oval lenses set in thin period steel frames. Amber lenses have small open circles in the center, about 3/8 diameter, surrounded by frosted area.
