CIVIL WAR ERA RARE CUTLERY HANDLE , ETCHED PANEL "MANSON SHEFFIELD" BOWIE KNIFE with ORIGINAL Sheath, 10 1/8" overall with a 5 3/4" Spear Point Blade That has a 3 false edge. The blade is Etched on one side and reads : " Never Draw Me Without Reason Nor Sheath Me Without Honor " It is lightly etched and polished over so it is hard to capture in the photos but you can see it in the last two pictures. This Fine Bowie is in excellent antique condition and dates to the 1850s. The sheath is original and fits like a glove, there is a old repair using cord to wrap the top throat of the sheath as can be seen in pictures. This Bowie is in Fine condition with only very light scattered discolored areas in blade, overall this is an exceptional piece and a Rare and early maker name.

The Handle is also Hallmarked but I haven't researched it yet, I have priced this Bowie to sell so don't hesitate and miss out on this Beauty!!!!!
