Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique Authentic U. Civil War Cavalry Sword with Original Scabbard, made in Germany. This Has a Brass Basket Cross Guard Stamped "136" with Wire Wrapped Leather Handle. During the War Many Swords were Imported From Germany because of the Heavy Demand from Both Sides.
This is a High Quality Unmarked German Import c. This Sword is in Overall Good Original Condition with a Wonderful Aged Patina, As Pictured!!! 40 1/2" Long with a 34 1/2" Blade. The Total Length of the Sword in Scabbard is 42 1/2. The Scabbard is the Original Steel Metal Scabbard with Two Loops.It is in Good Original Condition, as Pictured. The Sword Slides Nicely In and Out of the Scabbard! The Blade is Clean, with Normal wear From Age. This Sword is Exactly as I found it in the Estate.
