Antique US Army Camel Corps (1855-1866) Brass Eagle & Stars Bell

The US Army imported 71 camels from Egypt to the state of Texas, where they were used to haul supplies through the desert between Texas and California. These Army-issued brass bells were used on these missions.

This example measures 2.5" tall and 3" wide at its base. It is in good working order, with all pieces present.
