Antique US Civil War N. Starr Model 1812 Cavalry Sword w/ Scabbard. This sabre was contracted in 1812/13. It is a plain curved, flat blade with a clipped point. The iron hilt has a leather grip.

The P proof is found on the outside of the knuckle bow near the bend. The iron scabbard has two narrow bands with rings and thin drag.
