I Believe This To Be Authentic Original Civil War Kepi Or Indian Wars Kepi. The body is brown quality wool with fading, dirt and misused. There is dirt through out , i didn't do any cleaning , they were in a dirty trunk in the basement - please view pictures.

Kepi has a great age throughout and was heavily worn , Has a bit of musty smell from storage, Nice buttons on the sides and nice original brass swords crossing and the number 6 A on the top, . There are moth holes on the inside of the kepi with fading. Very well shape in respect to the age. The Civil War profoundly shaped the United States as we know it today.
