Butternut Slouch Hat Civil War Era Estate Texas A&M Corps of Cadets Stack Emblem & Officers Hat Cord; this piece is a recent acquisition from a very old estate collection. It was described by the estate as a multigenerational slouch hat going back to the Civil War Era in Texas - Confederate.
There is a post-WW2 Texas A&M Corps of Cadets Stack sewn type on the folded brim side of the hat, there is also a 19th C. Officers hat cord with has some loss and damage as photographed.
The hat is in average condition with mothing and other noticeable wear.
