Residence Lowell MA; 26 years old. Enlisted on 4/15/1861 at Lowell, MA as a Sergeant. On 4/22/1861 he mustered into "C" Co. He was Mustered Out on 8/2/1861 at Boston, MA. On 8/15/1862 he was commissioned into Field & Staff MA 6th Infantry.

He was Mustered Out on 6/3/1863 at Lowell, MA. On 7/20/1864 he was commissioned into Field & Staff MA 6th Infantry. He was Mustered Out on 10/27/1864 at Readville, MA.

Died 7/10/1908 in Lowell, MA. Buried: St Patrick's Cemetery, Lowell, Middlesex Co. He applied for a pension on 7/30/1891 from the state of MA.

Application # 1,043,318. His Widow (Charlotte A Allen) applied for a pension on 7/27/1908 from the state of MA.
