This is an original civil war era 44 colt army holster in good condition for it's age. This holster has a small seam separation starting as seen in pictures.
This particular holster still retains the leather plug at the bottom, which is missing on most examples you find today. The leather has some crazing which is to be expected, but still remains plyable. The belt loop is still plyable and not torn as most of them are.
All in all a good example of an increasingly hard to find item.
