Civil War Era-Copper & Brass Powder Flask-American flask and cap co-Provenance

Civil War Era-Copper & Brass Powder Flask. This is marked "American flask and cap co" on the top.

Likely used in the Civil War on the confederate side. There is a bit of Provenance with this item. It has some tape on the bottom side that says "Found Grants Creek, NC on the Confederate Side - Paul Prato Winter 08". So Grants Creek was the site of the last confederate Victory in Salisbury NC at Grants Creek. Not sure who Paul Prato is and if this was 1908 or 2008.

There is some Oxidation of the brass and cracks on the side along with some dents on both sides. The lever that opens the powder works well.
