This is an extremely fine, non-dug Civil War Federal U. S Oval Belt Buckle that remains in excellent, undamaged condition.

It has a perfect face, no edge dings, and full lead on the reverse side. The face now possesses an attractive, mellow age toned patina.

Both belt hooks and the belt catch are constructed of brass and are not bent or damaged in any way. It remains a beautiful example of the classic Civil War Federal U. Oval belt buckle that is in excellent, non-dug condition.
