The cover features General GK Warren's troops after the fight for the Weldon Railroad, Virginia. The center of the issue features the iconic double page image by Thomas Nast of Lincoln holding the American flag while soldiers brandish their weapons.
This illustration measures 22 x 16" with the caption "Rally Round the Flag The back page includes firearm ad for Spencer Repeating Rifles, also corp badges, presidential campaign medals, etc. Minor edge wear, age stains, acid free archival repair at spine, Overall VG.
