Civil War Identified First Sergeants Carpenters Trunk 8th Mass. Rare find

Abraham H Berry of the 8th MVM, used here in North Carolina during the Civil War. 18" x9 1/2" x 12 chest, perfect display size for your collecting, not taking much room, as well as many of his tools, files, sanding block, etc. Military stencil inked inside lid, as well as his name stamped. A H Berry 8th Regmt.

Enlisted on 8/15/1862 as a 1st Sergeant. On 9/15/1862 he mustered into "I" Co. He was Mustered Out on 8/7/1863 at Boston, MA.

On 5/16/1864 he was commissioned into "11th" Co. He was Mustered Out on 8/15/1864. On 8/16/1864 he was commissioned into Field & Staff. He was Mustered Out on 11/10/1864.

1st Lieut 8/15/1864 (1st Lieut & Adjutant). After the War he lived in Boston, MA. Please see photos for more description.
