This rare set of Civil War letters was written by two brothers, both of German descent, during the American Civil War from 1861-65. The letters were sent from a member of the Iron Brigade, a legendary Union Army unit composed of soldiers from Wisconsin, Indiana, and Michigan, the other brother a member of the party at Camp Randall.

The letters are in excellent condition and offer unique insight into the experiences of immigrant soldiers during the war. The letters have been transcribed on 36 pages typed for easy reading and understanding. The letters are in plastic archival sheets. This is a must-have for any history buff or collector of Civil War memorabilia. Don't miss out on the chance to own a piece of American history.
