An Original July 31, 1864 issue of The Memphis Bulletin during the occupation of the City by federal troops. The Complete 4pp issue has front page news off the War including the latest update on the "Big Battle" between Sherman and Johnston (Ezra Church)and naming Federal generals killed, etc, a sutler ad for military musical instruments, regimental orders, etc. Page 2 has a Lincoln and Johnson National Union Campaign Ad for the 1864 Presidential Election, also news of Sherman's Army at Atlanta and of Grants Army in Virginia. The paper also has news of soldier deaths, Orders from General Washburn, a guide for infantry to use double filing marches in battle.

A Courtmartial Order for a Shelby County Tennessee woman convicted of smuggling goods through the lines, and sentence to 9 months in prison at Alton, Illinois, a firearms dealer ad for revolvers and pistols, etc. He 4pp issue is complete, with age stains, edge wear, Overall VG. NOTE: Any repair to a paper item is listed. I use only museum curator approved archival repair tape. All items are unconditionally guaranteed to be authentic and in the condition as described.
