CIVIL WAR NCO SWORD & Sheath Union Army Sergeants Sword Nice Cond

Civil War union army sergeants sword. Made by Emerson & silver Trenton NJ. It comes in the original. SCARCE Emerson and sliver metal scabbard. The sheath has most of the original blue finish intact.

The mounts are nickel plated , this probably was issued to a Zouave unit.. Bright blade , no dents on the scabbard - no nicks or rust on the blade... This is a scarce variation , only Emerson & sliver produced the steel scabbard variation. You see scabbardless examples all day long - the sheaths just never stood the test of time.

This is the only one I've ever seen with nickel plated sheath mounts. A rare & desirable NCO sword! Don't pass it up!
