Original Civil War Officer's belt plate and leather belt. This set has always been together.
The eagle belt plate is in excellent condition with a large portion of the applied wreath. It is also a bench marked plate with the number 341.
The belt is in very good condition and was issued by military supplier Condict of New York and has the mark inside of a stamped oval. The keeper on the end of the belt is also original and fits the plate perfectly. It's become difficult to obtain original sets with both the plate and belt marked for military use.
