Civil War period leather pewter glass hanging flask canteen marked AB

Here is a mid-19th century traveling flask of the type carried by officers during the Civil War and well-documented in photos and collections. It is glass (marked AB), covered in leather and has a pewter screw cap and removable pewter cup sleeve. Rare canteen style with rings for carrying strap and cap with ring for traveling to keep cap from getting lost. Measures 7.25" tall and 4" wide. Good condition, glass is excellent, leather tight and mostly intact with a few losses, pewter with nicks and scrapes as shown.
