ITEM: CIVIL WAR: EXTREMELY RARE: Coasting Manifest for 480 tons - 2604 Sacks Oats, 1021 Sacks Corn, and 76 Bales Hay from Port of Baltimore for Norfolk, Virginia by way of Steamer Kennebec. Joseph Garton Master of steamer. NOTE: Confederates surrender Norfolk to the Union in May 1862.

This manifest in Oct, 1862, is for, guessing, feeds for Union horses in Norfolk. SIZE: 8 1/2" x 14".

CONDITION: Very Good, Has had some Archival repairs to splits in folded areas. NOTE; Have been repairing paper items using archival methods for over 45 years.
