The 61st Virginia Infantry Regiment was raised in Virginia to serve the Confederate States Army. It served as heavy artillery in the Portsmouth and Norfolk area. The 61st participated in many battles from Sharpsburg, Gettysburg, to Cold Harbor.

It was assigned to Gen. The regiment ended the war at Appomattox and surrendered 10 officers and 107 men. Offering a WAR-DATE Confederate Document, 7 3/4 X 10 1/4, signed by Alex E. Etheredge August 2, 1863, being a provision return. Our goal is to please every customer.
