Civil War Business Stencil & 10 Federal Eagle Buttons - Dug Newbern, N. The stencil was recovered in multiple fragments but is over 90% complete. The stencil measures 7 3/4" wide by 6 1/2" tall. "J B L & CO" at top; a large "56" at center; and a three-digit number (ending in "2") and N.

It has been reassembled and glued to the backing for display. Federal enlisted eagle buttons have been glued in rows of five to each side. The stencil and buttons are nicely framed in a modern shadowbox frame with a glass top.

The frame measures 11 3/4" wide by 9 1/2" tall by 1 1/4 deep. The prior owner said that these were found in Newbern, N. I have not attempted to inspect these items. Please inspect all photos carefully.
