This is a fantastic set I acquired together, both pieces are excellent / fine / near-mint Investment Grade, Museum Quality, Original Civil War. The Ames Manufacturing Artillery Short Sword has 95% full luster with all proper markings and comes with equally fine condition with its original scabbard and rig including soft and supple buff white belt, frog, and buckle. Original lining with inside pocket, original pillows. Both of these items are top-of-class examples, original civil war investment grade and museum quality. Set comes with torso mannequin for display, will be a centerpiece of any American Civil War display or collection.
