Civil War Era Binoculars, By LeMaire of Paris, France, Fine. 4" x 2.5" binoculars used during the Civil War.

LeMaire of Paris, France was one of the major world suppliers of binoculars and these were popular with officers on both sides of the war. The binoculars are marked LeMaire Fabt Paris on each eyepiece with the small bee logo. In excellent condition everything is intact and in working order. Case is overall in great condition with the exception of the lid's lock is detached. An interesting artifact of the Civil War era.
