Model 1840 Civil War Tiffany & Co. New York Cavalry Saber & Scabbard. Marked on one side of blade. Imported to Tiffany & Co. The mounts on the saber are all steel.

The leather and wire in fair shape for the years. The blade is about 35 5/8 inches long by 1 1/4 inch wide by 3/8 to 1/8 inch thick. The handle is about 5 1/2 inches long. The saber and scabbard shows lots of signs of age and wear. Please See Pictures to help you judge conditions of items.
