Excellent and attractive Model 1851 U. Officer's Civil War Belt Buckle! This example, numbered 260 just below the tongue, is in original condition with excellent patina!

The slight curvature of the plate is original for the buckle. Some light wear on the high relief deign and on the belt slot at left. Beautiful showpiece for your collection!
