I have this very unique and beautiful item up for sale! This seems to be a late 1800's Mourning Brooch of a likely Civil War Veteran, wearing a Kepi. I believe it is an enameled image. The pin on the reverse does not open easily and I did not want to damage it by forcing it to. As can be seen there are a few minor scratches and blemishes on the image but it does not take away from this stunning piece!

It is approximately the size of a quarter.
