Original M1864 musket cartridge box in good sound condition with one original cartridge tin. All seams and stitching are intact, leather flaking on the flap, buckles are intact, closing strap also intact and sound.

Straps on the back are also intact and in good condition. Inside flap is very good with no flaking. Flap to the accessory pouch is crazed with a little flaking.

Contractor's name is well stamped, S. Military inspector's mark on the lower left corner (looking at it) of the front flap. Cartridge tin is very good condition with a couple surface rust spots on the back. Leather is supple, NOT dried out.
