ORIGINAL ANTIQUE CIVIL WAR INKWELL Corps Badges 1861-1866

This is an original brass? Inkwell from the Civil War period. (4 3/4") in diameter at the base and is (1 1/2") tall. It still has it's original ceramic ink holder. All around the top are embossed images of Corps badges.

On one leg is "1861" and on another is "1866". Each leg at the bottom has a different image: Swords, Cannon, Anchor, Bugle, Rifles. Light wear with no damage. The ceramic holder is nice with no chips or cracks.
