Nashville, Tennessee imprint and embossed "C" on cover (spotting, some fading to interior, wear to edges and corners). Image of the general sitting next to the famous Reaper Clock that sat in Brady & Co.

This is a rare variation of the "clock on table" pose, showing a full view of the seated Lee including his fully-visible shoes, the entire clock and much more of the table than seen in other renditions. Close examination shows that this is not the same pose as the commonly seen "clock portrait" because of the position of Lee's left elbow in relation to the clock on the table and other small details.
