Up for sale is this framed portrait of a Civil War Union Soldier. There is a name plate at the bottom with his birth & death dates as well as rank and regiment and a battle that he participated in.
On the back is more information about Pickett's Charge which this soldier participated in. There is also some handwritten notes of what looks like some family history of this soldier. This framed portrait measures approximately 22-1/4" x 19-1/4" by 2-1/2 deep and is in very good condition. Frame is period original, and likely done in the 1870's.
