Next up for sale is an original M. Odel 1855-62 Rifled Musket Hammer with blued finish.

This is a great condition model 1855-62 Springfield and contract 1861 Model muskets. The hammer is blued, and does not show any wear on the nose of the hammer. Some of these hammers were supposedly blued at the end of the war by Rock island Arsenal, but I cannot prove it. It is in very good shape, and is a very hard hammer to find!
