Oversized CIVIL War Orig. Mounted Photo-2 Officers +1/ Identified

The piece is 13" x 16 1/2" mounted on heavy stock board and surrounded by the original mat. Civil War images in this large a format are quiet scarce. The three men are identified on the reverse in period ink as Col. Griffin" an "Samuel White and has the name of the (presumably) original owner, Mrs. Some foxing to the surface of the photo but no other notable damage.

We have no further information on these three men there was a Samuel White in the 29th Penna. Infantry Regiment and the item came from the eastern Pennsylvania area so it could be him.
