(too faint to make it out, doesn't look like Horstmann). The brass guard is tight but the bone grip does wiggle a little, the bone only has a few very small areas of loss.
The langets both have an eagle with wings spread. The etched blade has not been sharpened, it is straight, it does have some surface rust scattered throughout, and the tip is sharp.
The brass scabbard is very detailed and solid but it does have 7 dents (anti-rattle pinches by the looks of them) and it has slightly misshapen the scabbard, also caused a couple splits on an edge. The throat of the scabbard has a 1/4 slight split on one side.
